At Catfish Corner, the star of the menu is undoubtedly the catfish, meticulously prepared to ensure a perfect balance of tenderness and taste. Patrons rave about its ideal texture—a beautifully cooked filet that isn’t too big or too small, but just right for anyone with discerning taste buds. The secret lies in Regina and her team’s commitment to quality, creating a dining experience that keeps customers returning for more.

The fish is good and they give you plenty. The fried green tomatoes and fried pickles are awesome. I also like the hush puppies. I don’t care for the coleslaw. The hamburger steak is okay. The oysters are a hit and miss, sometimes they’re good and sometimes they taste old and rubbery. The shrimp are a no for me, they are like the frozen ones you buy out of the grocery store. Catfish One has real fried shrimp. But, I still would recommend Catfish Corner if you are ordering fish.

I live out of town, but when I’m down this way I make a point to stop by here. This is my absolute favorite place to get catfish. I am very picky about catfish, and Regina and her folks make it perfectly. It’s not gigantic filets or tiny crispy strips. It’s just perfectly in the middle with plenty of meat and great flavor. My other favorite thing to order is the boiled shrimp salad. Also, prior to COVID-19, they sold spicy green beans, and they were delicious! They aren’t able to get them anymore, though. Other items I’ve had include the cheese sticks, fried oysters, and fried shrimp. Everything I had was good, so you really can’t go wrong.

We had lunch there today. They have a super variety of delicious dishes and are very reasonably priced. It was a little rainy so the outside dining under the tin roof was great. Give them a visit!

Sometimes it takes a little bit to get your food but they get a ton of orders at once so its expected. And the order is always right.

I had a large salad (made from scratch) with shrimp. It was very good. Staff was very nice.

Fried shrimp are definitely imported and frozen. Fries as well. Like how hard is it to cut a potato? Fried mushrooms, okra, green tomatoes and pickles were amazing but VERY greasy. Bring extra napkins (after an hour+ wait after ordering) I hear good reviews from their fish and chicken so will try that tonight and update.
